Terry Ann Rush was born on May 14, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Finnis and Ethel Moore. Terry was the third oldest of fourteen children.
Terry, confessed her hope in Christ at an early age of just six years old. She later as an adult was baptized again at Transformation Christian Church in St. Louis, Missouri. Later she and her husband would become members.
Terry was educated in St. Louis public school system and a Graduate of Vashon High School. Terry furthered her education by attending University of St. Louis UMSL. She also enrolled and graduated with her Professional Cosmetologist License from Elaine Stevens Beauty College. With her education and talent, she was given the opportunity to work and retire from Boeing and enjoyed working for herself as she whipped and slayed hair for many many many years.
Terry was united in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Rush Jr on New Year Day over 45 years ago.
Terry was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister and friend. She loved the Lord and She loved her family. She was a hard worker and a strong-willed woman who enjoyed helping people. Her favorite pass time was cooking for family, skating, singing, traveling, home décor, spending time with her family, cracking jokes and laughing.
With much accomplishments, Terry enjoyed her family the most.
On Monday, October 17, 2022 she passed away peacefully at Barnes Jewish Hospital surrounded by her family. She is proceeded in death by her father; Finnis Moore, Her Bonus Father; John Starks and her Brother; Raymond Moore Sr.
Terry leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband; Raymond Rush Jr, two loyal sons; Terrell (Tonya) and RayNicco, one loving daughter; RayTerica, eight amazing Grandchildren; LaKeah, Tianna, Darrel, Terrell Jr., RayTerion, Raynicco Jr. and Gernei, two Precious Great grandchildren; Treasure and Royal, Her faithful Mother; Ethel “Moore” Starks, thirteen dearly loved siblings; Royce, Sandra (Paul), Patsy, Denise, Finnis Jr., Susan, Antanaia (Vincent), Anna, John, Ethel (Vernon), Cynthia and Cindy, three wonderful sisters in law, Katherine, Lynn, and Terry, one brother in-law; Isiah, one God daughter; Terry Bass, and A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
