Sherry Ann Bishop

Sherry Ann Bishop was born on October 5, 1960, in Matthew, Missouri, to the union of Percy and Elsie Lee (Davis) Bishop.

Sherry was educated in the St. Louis public schools where she graduated from Northwest High School. She went on to have an extensive 30-year career in the healthcare industry working in areas such Radiology and Billing. Sherry was a loving and kind-hearted individual who adored her family. She was a person who was dedicated and always lent a helping hand. Sherry was well-respected
by her family, friends, and colleagues. One of Sherry’s joys was traveling whether it was to London, a cruise on the Caribbean, or across state lines. She was fearless in her adventurers.

Sherry departed this life on August 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Percy Bishop; brother, Cleophes Bishop; and nephew, Cleophes Lamont Bishop.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Erica Alfred, and son-in-law, Robert Alfred; one granddaughter, Zion Tate; mother, Elsie Lee Bishop; five siblings, Percy Bishop, Jr. (Sheila), Penny Bishop (sister- in-law), Joyce Bishop, Severria Bishop, Nathanial Bishop, and Stephanie Tomlin (Mark); eight nephews, Derrell Phiffer, Ladrell Bishop, Ramar Bishop, Samad Bishop,
Jerome Murphy III, Mark Tomlin, Jr., Marquis Tomlin, and Brandon Newsom; seven nieces, LaKiesha Phiffer, Tiawana Thomas, LaTonya Bishop, LaTiffany Bishop, Ayanna Tomlin, Imani Tomlin, and Carleena Rathford; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
