James “Red” Henry Bellamy departed this life on July 23, 2024, at 8:40A James was born in Allensville KY. on March 25, 1937, to the union of Ulysus Bellamy Sr. and Ida Bell Kimbrough Bellamy.

James confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was affiliated with Johnson Chapel Baptist Church in Penick Town, KY. He completed high school in Elton KY.

James was united in marriage to Brenda Graves on September 28, 1982. They have been blessed with 42yrs. of marriage. To this union was born a son, James Ceisler Bellamy Jr. James loved visiting his parents’ farm, especially on August 8 th . James worked for Chrysler Corporation in Detroit MI. He then transferred to St. Louis, MO in the early 80’s. Where her retired after 35yrs.

James was preceded in death by his parents Ulysus Bellamy Sr. and Ida Bell Bellamy, Alex Bellamy (brother) and Ulysus Albert (Shorty) Bellamy Jr. He also leaves a to mourn him is his devoted wife, Brenda Bellamy, their son, James Ceisler Bellamy Sr. (Adelle); Grandchildren; James Ceisler Bellamy Jr, Monicha Bellamy and Jaden Young.

He also leaves his siblings: Shirley A. Trabue (George), Clarence W. Bellamy Sr. (Diane), Juanita Trabue, Flora Bell Browder, and Timothy Drake Bellamy. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
