Irwin T. Jones III

Irwin T. Jones, III (Junie) was born on May 11,1965 to the union of Irwin "Boo Boo" Jones and Leola Jones of St. Louis Mo. His father preceded him in death in 2008.

Irwin came to Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church of Maplewood.

He rededicated his life to Christ in 1998 stating, "I didn't fully understand why I was being baptized as a child. But as a man I completely understand my relationship with Christ."

Irwin  was married to Robin Leonard in September 2000 and to this union Marion Ashanti Jones was born. She truly was the love of his life. Marion is definitely a daddy's girl. They share a very special relationship.

Irwin had many lifelong friends, as many have been friends for over 50 years. One friend, Daniel Edwards, stated, "Junie was not just a friend he was my brother!"

Irwin worked in the healthcare field for several years but decided he wanted to be self-employed and started his own business in the 90s.

He loved ALL sports, college, professional little league! Anything sports but especially St Louis Sports. He was an avid Blues and Cardinals fan!

Irwin leaves to cherish a wife Robin and a beautiful daughter Marion Ashanti, a loving mother Leola Jones. Three sisters Sherry, Deborah and Sheronda(Corey), two brothers Shelby(Linda) and Deandre and two cousins who lived with us who were more like sisters than cousins, Shawn Welch and Rosemary Welch.  A host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly!  As well as numerous cousins that he loved and spent quality time with. And all of the many friends and friendships he developed for over 50 years!
