Gwendolyn Thomas Obituary

Gwendolyn Thomas was born August 29, 1956, in Saint Louis, MO, the youngest of three children born to Jacob and Naomi Thomas. Her father and one brother preceded her in death. Gwendolyn was educated in the Saint Louis Public School District. In 1975 she graduated from Soldan High School. She attended St. Louis Community College Florissant Valley. She was employed for 18 years at Boeing formerly known as McDonnell Douglas. She accepted Christ at a very young age. She enjoyed attending Hope Church, with her brother Herbert. Gwendolyn had one daughter. She enjoyed sewing and making anything she could such as outfits to baby dolls. She loved sports cars such as Camaros and Corvettes. Everyone who knew her knew her family because of her stron love and connection to them. She absolutely loved family, friends, music, and to party as well as roller skate at Steinberg Skating Rink. She will be missed for her famous banana pudding and deviled eggs. She had been such a fighter, strong warrior, and very resilient for a long 15 years struggle with her illness. Anyone who knew her knew that she was a very loving lady in their eyes, and that's all that ever mattered to her. She always provided advice, love and support, to her family so much. She would call every 20 minutes, and sometimes back to back just to talk or because you were on her mind will definitely be missed.
