God sent an Angel to Earth on October 15, 1918 when Edith Marie Frazier was born.
She was the second of eight children born to the late Henry and Maggie Frazier.
She attended the Orrville School District in West County and graduated high school from
Douglas High School in Webster Groves, MO.
She was always active in church. She was apart of Union Baptist Church before it was
Union Baptist. She loved her church, her pastor and her church family.
On November 22, 1939 she married Robert Thompson, who preceded her in death.
She loved many things in this world but nothing gave her more joy than her family. They
were a constant presence. From kids to great grand kids to dogs, she always had them
around.
She departed this life on Monday August 10th at approximately 4:40 pm surrounded by
family. She leaves to cherish her memory four children Therone (Ruth), Cecelia, Vera
(Reginald) and Kimberly. Three children preceded her in death Jarvis, Anthony and
Harlan Sr.; 21 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 47 great great grandchildren, 1
sister-n-law Doris Frazier, 1 brother-n-law George Works Sr., 6 daughers-n-laws, 3 sons-
n-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
