Earnest Lawrence Collins

Ernie was born March 30, 1925 in Willow Springs, MO to Earl and Ester Collins. At the age of 17 Ernie joined the U.S. Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War. He received many medals including the Purple Heart. After serving in the Navy for 10 years he married Opal Maxine Floyd. In 1958  Ernest became a school teacher.

Ernie was a loving Father to Pam Oliver (Doyle) and Stanley Collins (Mary).

Ernie was also a dedicated grandfather to Kristy and Josh Oliver, and Ashley and Eli Collins, also great grand father (Papa The Great) to Bella, Blake, Bentley and Mackenzie.

Ernie was proceeded in death by his wife, parents, 7 sisters and brothers Ernie will be greatly missed by all.
